Method

  1. 1

Get the rice going first. Add it to some boiling water and let it cook while you sort out the chicken.

  2. 2

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and get them into a hot pan with a splash of oil.

  3. 3

Hit them with salt, pepper, garlic granules and paprika, and let them get some serious colour.

  4. 4

Now the sticky sauce. Add the soy sauce, honey, garlic granules and a little bit of ketchup to a bowl and give it a mix.

  5. 5

Once the chicken is cooked through, pour the sauce straight into the pan.

  6. 6

Turn the heat down and keep stirring. The sauce is going to start reducing and sticking to the chicken.

  7. 7

Keep it moving until every piece is coated in that glossy, sticky sauce.

  8. 8

Rice onto a plate, chicken piled straight on top, and some spring onion if you have got it.
